Savannah Area REALTOR® Monica Spillane Cerrone named Georgia’s REALTOR® Of the Year

Monica Spillane Cerrone of Signature Properties Savannah was recently named Georgia’s 2021 REALTOR® of the Year. This statewide award recognizes a REALTOR® who has made outstanding contributions to the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR), Savannah Area REALTORS® (SAR), the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and local, state and national civic activities and groups. Recipients demonstrate faithfulness to the principles of the REALTOR® organization, professionalism and the Code of Ethics.

“It is wonderful to be recognized by my peers for my involvement and service,” said Cerrone. “I love being a REALTOR®, helping people find a home to love and selling those homes when their needs change. I truly enjoy serving my clients, community and industry.”

Monica Spillane Cerrone has been an active REALTOR® in the Savannah, Georgia market for 18 years, working with buyers, sellers and investors. She has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as Savannah Area REALTORS® President, Savannah Multi-List President, Savannah Women’s Council of REALTORS® President, Georgia Women’s Council of REALTORS® President, chair of the Georgia REALTORS® Legal Action Committee and as vice chair of the Georgia REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee. Additionally, she has served on the National Association of REALTORS® MLS Policies and Issues Committee. Cerrone has been involved with numerous community organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Relay for Life, the Savannah American Business Club (AMBUCS) chapter, the Ronald McDonald House and Santa’s Pantry. She previously received SAR’s REALTOR® of the Year Award in 2019 and was named to the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2021.
